Caitlin Bechelli Biography
Caitlin Bechelli grew up at Happy Feet and studied tap with Cece Bechelli, ballet with Vicki Marie Bassing and jazz with Lynn Brilhante. Caitlin also studied hip-hop and Irish dance as well. Caitlin taught at Happy Feet throughout high school. Currently Caitlin is a dance major and public health minor at UCLA. She was recently selected as a choreographer for the UCLA WAC SMASH show. Caitlin choreographed and taught her piece to seven advanced tap dancers in the UCLA dance department. Caitlin teaches summer classes at Happy Feet each year. Her classes include rhythm tap, musical theater tap, ballet, jazz, West African, African Jazz, and Hawaiian dance. Caitlin also enjoys her occasional guest teaching opportunities with Ala Costa in Berkeley California, an after school program for students with developmental disabilities. Caitlin also enjoys performing with her brother Matt, and sister Kelsey in “The Bechelli Tap Trio.” Caitlin continues to study many styles of dance at UCLA, and frequently takes classes in Los Angeles and New York.
